A friend with a reliably fine musical taste posted this album on FB and I wasn't disappointed. Love the guitar sound and the passionate vocals (melodic enough to not pass as screamo or whatever). Punk rock spirit yet with a lot of dynamics (definitely a yes to the Dischord reference) and compact songs that won't leave your head for a long time. Many many
great tunes on here but for the moment USMA and Lay Low have to be my favorites! Great band, very happy to have found them! perpendikel
Now W.A.R is a pretty solid album. These guys actually got the right direction. It's groovy, it's heavy, it has slower and moshing parts. It's everything I asked for and missed on the debut album. Moreover I dig the lyrics, focused on discipline and strength. Imho it really gets the essence of modern hardcore: simple, yet catchy, heavy riffs. Shweyksin!

I watched a video of this band covering a Title Fight song at Sound and Fury fest and it caused me to revisit and rediscover Title Flight. Angel Dust is endlessly fascinating to me because, like Turnstile, they are categorized as hardcore, yet infinitely experimental and unashamed about breaking conventions and incorporating endless other genres and sounds. Bravo! John Isaacson
